Have A Great Week
Here’s hoping everyone is feeling refreshed and relaxed after a long weekend. Teachers are putting the finishing touches on reports which will come out in the last week of term. Parents are always welcome to pop in to arrange a chat with your child’s teacher but if you want a formal interview following reports they are available by request. There are many excited children coming to Birmingham this week to participate in our Prep Transition Program. This is an opportunity for teachers to get to know new students and for the children to become familiar with our wonderful school. This week we will have selected students competing in a Maths Olympiad which is a test of children’s problem solving skills. They have a time limit and must work individually to complete the tasks. As always at Birmingham there is something going on whichever way you look and there is something for everyone, no matter what their interests are. Finally, we welcome back our global travellers led by Mr Vander Werf and Mrs Woods who have all represented our school on their visit to China. Some great stories have already been told and there will no doubt be many more to share. Please explore our website, pop in to see our beautiful school and above all, have a great week.
About The School
Welcome to Birmingham Primary School, my name is Trish Enzinger, and I have been the Principal here at Birmingham for the past nine years. I have loved every minute of it!
Our school is a large school, our student population has been around the 606 mark for the past five years. The school has a wonderful community feel for such a large school and we have many whole school and community activities. Our grounds are well maintained and there is a range of playground equipment, hard courts and passive areas for the children to access during recess and lunchtimes. We also have on offer a variety of lunchtime activities for the students.
Have a look..
